Gemini New Moon Tarot Spread
Navigating our Deeper Well
For today’s New Moon in Gemini, I wanted to go in a different direction than the typical mental and meditative associations that this airy sign usually falls under. For inspiration I pulled up the New Moon chart and saw that the moon is conjunct the Sun at Gemini 6°. The Sabian Symbol for Gemini 7° is, A Well With Bucket And Rope Under The Shade Of Majestic Trees. The keynote for this symbol is, Man’s primordial faith in the hidden sustaining power of life. Immediately, upon reading this symbol and doing some research on its interoperation, I was reminded of Kacey Musgraves latest album called the Deeper Well. This is one of my favorite albums by Kacey Musgraves, especially her song under that title that is about her past Saturn Return experience.
This Sabian Symbol is about navigating your own deeper well and finding beauty and insight through spiritual channels and connectedness with nature. The trees are symbolic to inerdependance we have with nature. The trees provide shade to the water bearer in exchange for well water from bucket.
